Dr. Mackman is amazing! If it was not for the splint
I would be in constant pain. When I first came my
symptoms were bad and I hurt a lot, but after seeing
Dr. Mackman, getting my splint, doing Physical Therapy
and lots of hard work, I am feeling awesome. Thank
you TMJ Treatment Centers.

After 5 years of treatment that didn’t work,
I came to Dr. Mackman with my jaw only opening to
35 mm. Now after treatment-no surgery, my jaw opens
to 52 mm. My jaw no longer sounds like a Rice Crispy
commercial (snap, crackle, and pop) every time I eat
and I no longer get headaches as frequently as a did
before.

I was amazed years ago to learn that TMJ can lead
to pain elsewhere in your body. I used to suffer from
terrible headaches, neck pain, my jaw locking open
on me (terrible and painful to go through) and, what
finally lead me to seek treatment, my jaw locked closed
on me (frightening, until you realize you can still
breathe). Dr. Mackman and his staff have helped me
be able to control my TMJ to a point where I no longer
get the headaches and I can’t remember the last
time my jaw locked on me. I am on maintenance now,
wearing my appliance 3-4 times per week while sleeping.
Dr. Mackman is always supportive and positive when
dealing with me. I am glad I found him!
