Dr. Hensick is a proud graduate of the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, where she graduated in 2022. After dental school, Dr. Hensick completed a one-year general practice residency (GPR) at Michigan Medicine receiving a certificate. Immediately following she completed a two-year residency program at the University of Michigan Dental School, receiving a certificate degree in Orofacial Pain. During this time, she gained extensive experience in orofacial pain management, including temporomandibular joint disorders TMJD or (TMD), as well as the use of oral appliance therapy to treat obstructive sleep apnea. Due to the complex nature of the field, she also completed clinical rotations inanesthesia pain, general neurology, headache neurology, movement disorders, oral surgery, otorhinolaryngology, pediatric rheumatology, physical medicine and rehabilitation, rheumatology and sleep medicine.
Dr. Hensick’s professional interests include diagnosis, management, and prevention of TMD. Dr. Hensick also appreciates treating patients with obstructive sleep apnea, sleep bruxism and various types of headaches.
Dr. Hensick and her husband, Adam have recently moved to Wisconsin from Michigan and are enjoying exploring all that the Milwaukee area has to offer. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her golden retriever Maple.
